Chris Leon '90 graduated from e Day School in 8th grade. He lives in Harlem with his partner, Tina Stege, and their three children: Kiep (born in 2008), Malolae (born in 2010), and Koonal (born in 2014). Regular or occasional visitors include Chris' mom and many of Tina's relatives from the Marshall Islands. Chris is a software engineer at Google; Tina is an environmental activist. Kirsten Leon '94 graduated from e Day School in 8th grade. She has settled in Washington Depot, CT, with her partner, Shane Mongar, and their two sons, Curtis (born in 2011) and Oliver (born in 2013). Kirsten is Senior Company Manager for Pilobolus, a world-renowned dance company, founded in 1971. She has worked in the dance world since college, including touring with Les Ballet trockadero de Monte Carlo and stage-managing at the American Dance Festival. Shane works as an independent Production Manager, touring around the world with Pilobolus, as well as creating specialized live TV and corporate productions. Curtis and Oliver love to hang out backstage at any show where Mom and Dad are working. All in the Family… is page, top: e family in the salad crop greenhouse. Two years after Matthew and Corrine relocated to the Leon family property—which is called Strawberry Fields (in homage to the Beatles)—flowers and produce from the Lovin' Mama Farm have quickly become a regular and popular sight at farmers markets in Troy and Schenectady.
