Lyle Friess '04 Alum and former TDS coach, Lyle, and his brother Harris—founders of the Brooklyn Youth Sports Club (BYSC)—received the Living the Dream Mentor Award from Manhattan Country School in May 2018. e BYSC mission is to assist "Brooklyn youth in their pursuit of college enrollment, using basketball as the hook for academic engagement and character development." Alumni came out in force in July 2018 to support Lyle and BYSC for Brooklyn Spread 2018. ey participated in a 3 v 3 basketball tournament. Frankel's Delicatessen & Appetizing, owned by Trevor alums Zach Frankel '05 and Alex Frankel '96, sponsored the food. Class Happenings: 2000s–2010s Jeremy omas '04 After Jeremy completed the 2018 NYC Marathon in November, he celebrated his achievement with his mother, Barbara omas. Isabelle omas '08 is January, Isabelle attended Experience Trevor. After her first class, e Art of the Short Story, she participated in Hamlet: Act One, Scene One, the lively class taught by her father, faculty member, David omas. Sophie Schuit '10 Sophie graduated from Washington University in 2014 and then went to Columbia University Law School. She will graduate in the spring. When she graduates, Sophie is planning to join O'Melveny & Meyers in their NYC office, as a litigation associate. Harry Sultan '13 Harry graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, in 2017. He moved to Jerusalem in September and tells us, "I began a temporary position at Israel Story, an Israeli podcast in the same vein as is American Life. I'm here helping with production while their two executive producers and hosts are in America, working on their live- show tour." Harry is also "working on a three-part audio documentary about the formation of the Las Vegas Strip and how the casino that started it all was actually based on a model derived in Saratoga Springs. I finally released the series on its website and through Apple's podcast player." It can be found at WheelsKeepSpinning.com. Alex Olajide '14 A Midshipman First Class, Alex is the Naval Academy's 165-pound boxing champion and team captain. When he graduates in May, he will enter the U.S. Marine Corps as a 2nd Lt. In November 2018, he won his bout at the NY Athletic Club's Annual College Boxing Night, and Trevor participants and attendees included: Peter Atkin '13, Ben Daniels '07, Sam Daniels '11, Kevin Draughon '02, Daniel Feigin '84, Peter Feigin '84, Zach Frankel '05, Elijah Frater '14, Lyle Friess '04, David Iwanowski '13, Faiz Khan '11, William Kronberger '13, Malcolm Lee '84, Clio Markman '13, Alex Morel '07, David Siegel '11, and Steven Siegel '13.
