Girls' Adventures in Math e East Campus was proud to be one of two schools in the city to host the Girls' Adventures in Math (GAIM) Competition in spring 2019. Eight of Trevor's then 5th-grade girls and ten then 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade girls participated in this challenging and exciting event. As teams, they competed to solve difficult math problems. One of the teams—comprised of Erynn G., Becca J., Iliana T., and Zoe S.—earned an honorable mention! We are so proud of the students for working together to creatively and collaboratively solve difficult math problems—and having fun while doing so. Trevor initially became hosts to this competition via Trevor parent Anna Raytcheva P'24. As a teacher for Math-M-Addicts, she works closely with GAIM, and connected us with its organizers. As it happened, GAIM was looking for a second NYC location, so Trevor's Middle and Upper School was added as a host. Trevor has been participating in GAIM for four years, and has hosted for the last two.
