Ian Chustek '01 Ian and his wife, Danielle, welcomed Bowen Marshall Chustek on July 25, 2020. Pictured with Ian's stepchildren—Grace (11) and Bryce (6)—Bowen is the grandson of Donna Linton, Associate Director of Middle and Upper School Admissions. Leslie Hanson '04 Leslie is part of the Black Hive, a collective of Black employees at apparel brand Bombas that came together through the company to empower its Black voices and give back to the community in a meaningful way. Leslie tells us that "Bombas allocated $250,000 for the Black Hive along with the decision as to how is should be allocated—an incredible move on the part of the Bombas founders and management, that gives us full autonomy to determine what makes a donation meaningful, and to make sure it goes to a place that resonates with the Black com- munity." e Black Hive designed and produced the Black Hive collection of socks and the accompanying campaign and selected four organizations committed to combating root causes at the intersection of homelessness and systemic inequality as beneficiaries. Remarks Leslie: "Proud to be a part of this with a great team that brought this to life!" In April (2021), Leslie spoke about this project at IBM's Black Design: Past, Present, and Future conference. He shared the body of his work across his career from Kaplan Inc., Seamless / Grubhub, and Bombas. Robert Kris '04 Robbie and Shenay Imre were married in September 2020. Alex Lasry '05 Alex was married to Lauren Markowitz in October 2020. He is currently running for the U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. that was already practically dead. In October, I put on real shoes for the first time in eight months and nearly fell over as I adjusted to being an inch taller. (e air really is thinner up there.) While many people learned to make sourdough and sew their own curtains, I watched so much Netflix that co-founder and current Co-CEO Reed Hastings called me personally to ask if I was okay. I told him I would be better with 50 percent off for the next year, a few shares of stock, as well as the return of Freaks and Geeks." Emily Pearson '05 Emily and her husband, Dennis Estok, welcomed Olivia in April 2021.
