Educators, sociologists, and lay people worldwide have recognized the importance of human connections and the heightened significance of such contact during the ongoing pandemic. So students then worked independently in support of the nonprofits Operation Gratitude and City Meals on Wheels, writing letters to veterans, service members, first responders, and elders. e 9th grade also wanted to extend its sincere gratitude to the Trevor community for a fall season well done. In celebration of our achievements and communal efforts, and to acknowledge the challenges we have faced, students shared reflections on a collaborative Jamboard filled with sticky notes of gratitude messages. e 9th graders and their advisory teams wanted to approach the winter break with a sense of accomplishment and also a sense of hope and joy for a fresh start to 2022.
