Class Happenings: 1980s–2000s Chris White '82 Chris White '82, Executive Producer at POV, gets two congratulations: (1) for the latest season airing on PBS, and (2) for POV co-productions rough e Night and Softie, both of which received Alfred I. Dupont and Columbia University awards. Congratulations to everyone involved. Peter Feigin '82, AP '19, '21 Peter Feigin '84, was conferred an honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa at the commencement ceremony of Franklin & Marshall College. Peter received the honor for his work as a corporate leader in the Milwaukee Bucks organization; contributions to the evolution of the city of Milwaukee and state of Wisconsin; and community service launching the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation; service on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee; Milwaukee Public Museum; Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation; and City Year Milwaukee. Congratulations, Peter, and keep up the great work. Go, Bucks! Malcolm Lee '84 & Daniel Feigin '84 Daniel Feigin '84, Assistant Head of School and Director of Upper School, recently spent the day on set with fellow alum Malcolm D. Lee '84, while filming scenes for Malcolm's upcoming release of e Best Man. A limited series with the original cast, it will air on Peacock starting December 22nd. Can't wait to see the series in this legendary franchise, Malcolm! Lawrence Malin AF '93, AP '08 Former Faculty '93 and Alumni Parent '08, Lawrence Malin, recently traveled to Leipzig, Germany, where he is pictured with Gottfried Reich's trumpet. He writes, "No problem with sticky or leaky valves. is city is all music." Hope you enjoyed the performances at the Gwandhaus, Lawrence! Jason Sosnoff '96 Jason Sosnoff '96 helped produce the recent HBO series e Survivor, based on the true story of Harry Haft. Haft survived not only the unspeakable horrors of Auschwitz, but the gladiatorial boxing spectacle he was forced to perform with fellow prisoners for the amusement of the SS. Unbeknownst to those who tried to destroy him, Haft's will to survive was driven by his quest to reunite with the woman he loved. Congratulations, Jason, on the series. Jane Startz AP '97, '99, '05 Jane Startz Alumni Parent '97, '99, '05 (see page 56 for Zoë's alumni profile) and her production company, Jane Startz Production, recently released Sneakerella on the Disney+ service. Along with the Sneakerella team, Jane also rang the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange on May 13th. Jane provided this update: "In addition to Sneakerella, Duck and Goose, an animated series I developed and produced based on the beloved picture books of the same name by Tad Hills, premiered today on Apple TV+. e feature film that I produced, e School for Good and Evil, starring Charlize eron, Lawrence Fishburne, Kerry Washington, and Cate Blanchett will premiere on Netflix on September 22, 2022, and will also have a limited theatrical release. e movie is based 6 0 T R E V O R D AY S C H O O L n S U M M E R 2 0 2 1 – 2 0 2 2
