Trevor's Board of Trustees Alexis Crespin P'24, P'26 ................................................................................. Alexis and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Crespin, joined the Trevor community in 2011. ey have a daughter in 11th grade and a son in 9th grade. Alexis begins her two-year term as Parents Association (PA) Co-President for Middle and Upper School in September 2022. Alexis has previously served as the PA Division Co-Chair for the Upper School, and has been the Co-Chair for the Trevor Fund since the 2015–16 school year. For several years, Alexis was a Middle School PA Division Co-Chair, and the PA Acquisitions Chair, and she has previously been PA Co-President for the Lower School. Prior to becoming a full-time mother, Alexis was an Executive Director at UBS, a global financial services firm, where she ran the small cap area of the Nasdaq trading floor. Alexis began her career at Charles Schwab in an associate trading program and transitioned to become a Nasdaq market maker in the bulletin board and pink sheet area. Alexis received her BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Welcome to Our New Trustees for 2022–2023 Trevor Day School greatly benefits from the leadership and dedication of its Board of Trustees, which works with the Head of School to set the school's strategic agenda and ensure the continuing quality of a Trevor education, in fulfilllment of its mission. We extend our deepest thanks to the entire Board for its stewardship, counsel, and commitment to the Trevor community—with particular thanks to Jennifer Lapatine,Ólaf Ólafsson, and Zead Ramadan, all of whom are concluding their service on the Board. Malcolm D. Lee '84 ............................................................................................ Malcolm D. Lee is a writer, director, and producer. His directorial work includes his critically acclaimed feature film debut, e Best Man, which opened at No. 1 at the box-office. In addition, Lee made history with his smash 2017 hit, Girls Trip, as the first film with a full African American creative team (in front of and behind the camera) to surpass the $100 million mark at the domestic box office, ultimately grossing over $140 million worldwide. He also directed Night School, another box office hit grossing more than $100 million worldwide. One of Hollywood's most bankable filmmakers, Lee's other projects include the feature film Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James, and Peacock's e Best Man: Final Chapters, an eight-episode series finale to Lee's iconic e Best Man franchise. rough his Blackmaled Productions banner, Lee is currently overseeing several feature and television projects in development—including I Almost Forgot About You (Universal Pictures), an adaptation of Terry McMillan's novel of the same name, starring Viola Davis; Real Talk (Universal Pictures); and e Spoils (Lionsgate). Dan Sommer P'26, P'30 ................................................................................... Dan Sommer is Managing Partner and Founder of 10X Impact, an investment firm focused on bringing capital and expertise to companies that concentrate on education, technology, and the future of work. Prior to founding 10X, Dan served as Founder and CEO of Trilogy Education, a workforce accelerator that partners with the world's leading universities to help companies bridge the digital skills gap. Under Dan's leadership, the company, which was acquired by 2U, Inc. in 2019, grew to 50 university partners in 55 locations globally, 2,500 employees, and over $150 million in sales. Prior to Trilogy, Dan served as President of Global Education at Zeta Global leading the company's growth and expansion within the education sector. Before that, Dan served as CEO and Chairman of Study Interactive, an innovative international Office of Personnel Management that partners with international universities to bring their programs online and to students in 153 countries. Dan has a BS from Cornell University and an MS from New York University. Dan and Cari, his wife, have two sons at Trevor: one son in 9th grade and another in 5th grade.
