Daniel Leary '00 Daniel Leary '00 has been working on the Ellen DeGeneres Show for over a decade and shared this update: "Today (April 28, 2022), Ellen tapes her final show. I started as a writer here 13 years ago. I end it as Executive Producer of Digital. Moving forward, I get to be her Head of Innovation for EDV, Ellen's digital company. is show has changed my life. Of all the memories (including getting proposed to on a work trip to Australia and having Ellen and Portia send me champagne on the flight from Sydney), what means the most is the tribe of exceptional people who took this journey with me. Some of them are still here, some aren't. Many of them are unpictured. ey're all a part of this moment. I'm sending you my love." Congratulations, Daniel, on your past work and future endeavors. Sarah Tavel '00 On April 21, 2022, Sarah Tavel '00 and Christine Lemke welcomed their second child: Sophia Lemke Tavel. Sarah writes, "First week with Sophia! So far, she's the kind of newborn that makes parents think they're amazing at this parenting thing. Eats voraciously, sleeps easily and well, and way too cute. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful. Big brother Marco has been wonderfully sweet and proud of his younger sister/big brother status, and thus far, has resisted trying to throw her in the garbage. He probably doesn't realize she's a permanent addition just yet." Congratulations on Sopia's arrival and wishing all the best to the whole family! Mark Rothman '01 & Will Crotty '22 Here is a picture of Mark Rothman '01, Will Crotty '22, and Kirstin Spielman, Grades 9–12 Dance and Performing Arts Teacher and director of the Bridge program. Mark has given many seniors a chance to intern with his Magma Global enterprise during Bridge. e company provides a host of services from event planning to negotiation and administrative/personnel services. is year at a Bridge presentation for the Upper School community, Will called his experience "clearly the best Bridge project that anyone here could ever have done, and I highly recommend to you, juniors, that you do this next year." Mark also shared an update on his family: "I have two infants: Max (21 months) and Maya (10 months).
