Eric Lindow: A Half-Century and Counting… Scott R. Reisinger, Head of School, presented the following remarks during the year-end Faculty & Staff Meeting in June 2022: Former Students Also Offer eir Congratulations n Joshua Wolf '01: If it weren't for Mr. Lindow, I wouldn't have been able to make IT my career. Now I work for FEMA fixing computers and communications systems as a Disaster Response official and still utilize the fundamentals that Mr. Lindow taught me over 20 years ago. n Mark Connelly '90: Amazing. So many fond memories of Mr. Lindow's joint homeroom with Mr. Scieszka…lots of laughs every morning. And of his patient, encouraging approach to teaching and infectious curiosity. Congratulations, Mr. Lindow! T his year is Eric Lindow's 50th anniversary as a member of Trevor's faculty, and of e Day School before that. Eric, I speak from the heart when I thank you on behalf of all of us for your friendship, your support, your being a colleague par excellence, and for being one of the most brilliant and kindest people I know. You are a dear friend to me and to so many of us; you are simply an inspiration! I could go on all day about your accomplishments, and how you have served this community and generations of students. But let me cite just a few: n You were Director of Operations. n You were also the Chief Financial Officer of e Day School. n You were Head of Upper School when it consisted of Grades 6–8. n You were Assistant Head of School for Middle School. n You were a Middle and Upper School Science Teacher. n You were an Upper School Math and Computer Science Teacher. n You founded the Upper School Technology Department. n You coached basketball, and you were the Friday afternoon floor hockey Coach. n You were the Field Day Torchbearer for 25 years, from 1970–1995! n You were an Advisor to hundreds of students, all of whom benefitted from your wise counsel and guidance. n You founded the Statistics Department. n You founded the Democracy Simulation. n You coordinated the Tech Fellows. n You were the school's accountant. n You are Master of the Senior Trip Campfire. n And, I can say from experience, you are Trevor's Resident Divergent inker. In the hours we have spent together, I have come to know you and love you as few other colleagues in my career. Your wisdom—and it is wisdom, sir—your advice, your knowledge of this school and your love for it are second to none.
