Franny Rittenberg (Goldberg) '08 Franny Rittenberg (Goldberg) '08 recently gave birth to Penelope Bea Garcia Rittenberg at Lenox Hill. Sophie Laird '06 Sophie Laird '06 wrote to tell us that she got married in June in the Catskills to Eric Osterman, whom she met through fellow alum Rebecca Siegel '06. Shakira Wanda Burton, MD '07 Shakira Wanda Burton, MD '07 will complete her general surgery residency program at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, and will take her talents and skills to the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW)/Parkland's Trauma/Surgical Critical Care/Acute Care Fellowship Program. At the end of her fellowship, she will be a double board-certified surgeon in general surgery and trauma/critical care. Congratulations, Shakira!
