mathematics curriculum, and the development of an Upper School computer science department. Further, Trevor developed its own Contemporary Multicultural Issues curriculum, used the Pollyanna racial literacy curriculum to inform the Kâ8 humanities curriculum, and partnered with Constellation Learning to expand Upper School curricular offerings through a global online system of schools. Throughout all of these advancements, Trevor also planned and executed a series of signature programs including Health & Wellness, Global Education (and our membership as a Round Square school), and an innovative and forward-thinking Environmental Studies concentration. Support of Faculty & Teaching Excellence has been another lodestar advancing Trevor. Over the last nine years, the school raised faculty salaries above the peer-school median to help retain and attract a stellar group of educators. Trevor also increased its professional development budget, instituted a successful Peer Observation program, and implemented Professional Learning Communities for year-long, in-house professional training. With new buildings and shifting geographies, the last decade also saw a thoughtful focus on Enrollment Management, guided by the objective of enrolling students and families committed to Trevor's mission and promise. According to Board President Valerie Mnuchin, "When I first met Scott, I told him that the school he was building was a sensation, and that everyone was going to want to come. But I went on to say, you have to make sure that the families who really believe in the ideals of ambitious academics, engaged students, and balanced lives are the ones who do come, so that these principles can drive the school. And he truly did that. We have an incredible student body living this promise.
