WHAT YOU MAY HAVE M I S S E D Alumni Working in Service of Sustainability In November 2023, Trevor's Environmental Club led an assembly on sustainability and environmental initiatives. Their overarching goal was to help our community turn climate anxiety into action. Their ambitious agenda included addressing climate change myths and highlighting student sustainability initiatives in the Trevor community, such as painting the 88th Street Lower School roof with reflective paint to reduce cooling needs, spearheading rooftop gardens and hydroponic towers, and working on a solar panel proposal for the 95th Street East Campus. One of the assembly's most satisfying components was the manner in which the club chose to highlight the vast academic discipline of environmental studies and the myriad professional ways to make an impact on the planet: They organized a panel of young Trevor alumni working and studying in this diverse field. It was incredibly gratifying to have Melanie, Sachi, Lucia, and Henry back to share their experiences.
