October 13, 2023 marked a dedication that was many years in the making. In Trevor's East Campus 8th-floor Center, a
ceremony was held to dedicate the Cynthia E. Bing Upper School Center. The late Ms. Bing was one of the most pivotal
leaders in the creation of what Trevor Day School has become. She served as a trustee, from 1980 to 2014, and for over
a decade she was president of the Board, from 1984 to 1995. Her children, Cynthia K. Bing '87 and Alexander Bing '99
attended the event to uncover the plaque that honors their mother. Head of School Daniel Feigin '84, P'26 and current
and former faculty, alumni, students, and parents attended. You will learn more about Ms. Bing and her role as the Board
of Trustees president in a future Trevor Magazine article. Eric Lindow, Trevor's most senior faculty member (51 years and
counting!) is currently writing about her and other key leaders in Trevor's interesting and complex history.
