Carrie Berk '20 Carrie Berk '20 released her latest book last fall, titled: My Real-Life Rom-Com: How to Build Confidence and Write Your Own Relationship Rules. You can find it at your favorite online retailer now. Rebecca Pomerantz '20 Rebecca Pomerantz '20 recently presented her work at Hamilton College, titled "Underground Sound." The presentation was born from her work studying New York City street musicians in the subway system and outside in city parks. The goal of her research, about underground musicians, was to "figure out their role in city life and understand the dynamic between police officers stationed in the subway and subway musicians." Over the course of several weeks of observation and interviews, Rebecca "has enough transcripts to write a whole book." Perhaps we have a future latest release news item to share? Great work, Rebecca. Jaden Satenstein '18 Jaden Satenstein '18 is back in the USA and shared this update: "I've just returned from an incredible year teaching in Spain, and I'm thrilled to announce my next big adventure! I'm joining the Ambassador Theatre Group as a marketing coordinator for the company's San Francisco wing, BroadwaySF. I'm supporting the marketing team to promote all the Broadway national tours, concerts, and events that come to the iconic Orpheum, Golden Gate, and Curran theatres. This is such a unique opportunity to combine my love for live entertainment with my passion for creative communications, and I can't wait to get started. Don't hesitate to send any Bay Area recommendations my way!" Welcome back, Jaden! Allison Moore AP '19 Allison Moore AP '19 is the founder and CEO of the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation (HNF). Allison recently announced that HNF is launching the first-ever biorepository for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT), a disease that affects three million people worldwide, but remains mostly undiagnosed. Allison explained, "For clinical trials to be successful, targets for treatment and biomarkers must be identified. To date, there is no available biorepository of CMT samples for researchers or [the] industry to pull from. Today, HNF has changed that and is excited to advance research and therapy development with the help of COMBINEDBrain." Thanks for all your work helping to find new and novel treatments.
