In the fall of 2023, I asked Trevor's Alumni Relations and Development teams if I could spearhead a fundraising initiative with their support. As a former Trevor athlete, I wanted to bring alumni athletes together to help the school fund the cost of refurbishing the Glenn Markman Gym on the third floor of the East Campus. I also knew that my many Trevor teammates coached by Mr. Feigin over his two- decade coaching career wanted to honor his appointment as Head of School, and recognize his service as a teacher, mentor, and especially as a coach who always motivated us to do our best, work as a team, and maintain a life-long connection to Trevor. Many Trevor alumni, alumni-athletes, and family friends contributed to the gym refurbishment project, which included new floors, padding, and signage, as well as the etching of "Feigin Court" therein. The project was completed over Spring Break 2024, and we are very proud of the results! We hope you will join the alumni community in celebrating this milestone. We are honored to pay special tribute to an educator who has devoted his life to helping so many Trevor alumni achieve our dreams. I had the incredible opportunity and privilege of being a Trevor athlete and coaching hundreds of Trevor athletes. My father spent thousands of hours inside the Trevor gyms, supporting us as athletes and me as a coach. It is humbling to see our family's name on Trevor's basketball court. I know my father (Jim Feigin) would be incredibly proud, as am I, that my former athletes, their families, and Trevor friends raised funds to generate this special tribute."
