Filipino traditional appetizer.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground pork
½ pound diced shrimp
1 medium onion diced
3 carrots grated
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 package 8-inch spring roll wrapper
(25 pieces) cut diagonal to make 50
triangle pieces
2 cups canola oil for frying
1 bottle of sweet egg roll sauce
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl (filling)
2. ½ cup warm water in a bowl
3. Scoop 1 tablespoon of filling and place in center of
wide edge of wrapper
4. Shape filling into a rod shape
5. Moisten tip of triangle with warm water
6. Fold both ends of wrapper
7. Roll toward point of triangle
8. Make sure tip seals well
9. Roll all the egg rolls
10. Fry in 2 cups canola oil until golden brown
11. Place fried egg roll on paper towel to soak extra oil
12. Serve with Sweet Egg roll sauce
