Commencement SPEAKERS "School wasn't just about what we learned in class; it's about how we showed up for each other." Sam Griggs & Maria Galiotos "The first person I met [at Trevor] was the faculty member at my middle school interview. Their kind, positive energ y and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home and I knew that Trevor would be a place where I could thrive, both socially and intellectually." Shayna Greenberg "Trevor's shown me that home is not just a place on a map. It's a feeling, a people, a collection of moments ingrained in our hearts… I found my second home 5,000 miles away from my first." Adriano Penalva "There's this unspoken rumor about the Class of 2025, and it's that we're all friends. This weird phenomenon of 86 high schoolers being cordial and friends with each other. If this rumor's true, then we have single-handedly proven that community is not about time spent, but about how we treat each other." Lily Simon "Never underestimate what a Trevor graduate is capable of." Maddie Bard "You might have heard of a theory called 'the six degrees of separation.' It suggests that every person on this planet is just six connections away from any other person. The 85 classmates around you today are not just part of your path forward–they're also counting on you. You are someone else's link. You are one of their six. As we go into the world, let's carry that with us. Let's stay curious, let's stay connected to one another, and let's stay brave enough to cultivate new relationships, as we are only six degrees away from anything. And today, we take our first step." Joanna Redroban-Silva "Caring is the coolest thing a person can do." Leah Rothfield "As I step forward, I carry these voices with me. I carry courage, I carry gratitude, and I carry Trevor in my heart." Aaron Aguirre-Mendez 42 / TREVOR MAGAZINE WINTER 2025–26
