Faculty Bulletins
Megan Henry, Upper School
Science Teacher and Advisor,
published an audiobook
version of her book, An
Incomplete Theory. Class of
2027 Trevor student Eva B.
created the cover art!
Courtney Krings, Lower School Head Art Teacher, shared, "One of my
ceramic sculptures was featured in Apotropaia (pronounced "app-
oh-trope-pie-uh"), a group exhibition featuring traditional ceramics
from the Calabrian region of Italy and expressive sculptures made by
friends of Mociun, a fine jewelry brand. The word "apotropaia" refers
to rituals and objects that imbue a room with protection against evil
energies. Apotropaia ran through November 1, 2025, at Mociun, 683
Driggs Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
Cabel Alfriend, Middle School Learning
Specialist and Advisor, wrote about the birth
of his son immediately after the event:
"I'm so excited to introduce our newest
family member, Cohen Brooks Alfriend,
who took his very first breath at 12:55 pm
on Monday, April 14, 2025. Still recovering
in the hospital, but everyone's happy and
healthy and just so excited for his life!
Thank you all for being so supportive,
kind, and generous—he's a lucky boy
already!" Pictured above are Cohen
and his mother, Mollie.
