I was born and raised in New York City and had the luck to spend my formidable childhood years at what was then called e Day School. My parents lived in the neighborhood and had many schools to choose from. however, they loved the e Day School's atmosphere and teaching methods—and there I stayed through 8th grade. e Day School gave me the skills that I needed to go on to achieve my goal of becoming a physician. I went to Tulane Medical School in New orleans and finished my residency in anesthesiology at Stanford University. I have been a practicing anesthesiologist for nine years; I also earned a fellowship in cardiovascular anesthesiology from columbia Medical center. Two years ago, when I signed up to host a senior Trevor student in the Bridge program, I was thrilled to work with students seriously interested in pursuing medicine. Since then, I've had the pleasure of working with seven students. For all, it has been a well- rounded introduction to the world of hospital medicine, from the anesthetic arena as well as other specialties. In my spare five minutes when I'm not working, I love to hang out with my kids; that usually involves something to do with soccer. I also play tennis, travel, and spend time with friends. Work is an ever-present entity, but as I invest the time, I further my medical career and am now branching out into other aspects of the anesthesia department. We are so happy to have our sons at Trevor Day School. Not only have we met new friends, but also there are so many friends from my days at e Day School, including some special teachers and administrators still at the school.
