Margaret is an alumna of e Day School, which became fully independent of the Church of the Heavenly Rest in 1969 and merged with the Walden/Lincoln School in 1991. Margaret and her husband, Jim, came to Trevor in 2005. ey have two daughters, one in the 8th grade and one in the 5th grade. Margaret graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with concentrations in Spanish literature and art history, and received her PhD in art history from the Graduate School and University Center of the City of New York. She is Assistant Director and Curator of Decorative Arts at e Hispanic Society of America, where she has worked since 1993. During this time, Margaret curated Alcora in New York for the Museo de Bellas Artes de Castellon; Splendor of Alcora: Spanish Ceramics of the Eighteenth Century for e Hispanic Society of America; and Talavera Poblana: Four Centuries of a Mexican Ceramic Tradition for the Americas Society. In addition, she has written extensively, presented numerous lectures in her field, and conducted teachers' workshops with the Education Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At Trevor, Margaret served as a PA representative and division chair for the Early Childhood division, in addition to serving as Co-Head of Special Projects for three years. 0 5 T R E V O R D AY S C H O O L n W I N T E R 2 0 1 5 – 2 0 1 6 Margaret Connors McQuade Orit Mardkha-Tenzer Orit and her husband, Gil, came to Trevor in 2000. ey are the parents of an 11th-grade daughter and a son who graduated in 2013 and is entering his third year at Georgetown. She received a BFA from Parsons School of Design, after which she worked at several publishing houses, including Barnes and Noble Publishing, St. Martin's Press, Workman, and Random House. Orit later became the principal of her own design firm. In addition to her work as a designer, she teaches Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator classes at New York University's Institute of Fine Arts. At Trevor, Orit designed and created the annual Auction journal for a number of years.
