Process
To embrace its future challenges, mission, and vision, the Trevor Day School Board of Trustees
has developed this strategic plan, a result of extensive work on the part of the Board and various
constituencies of the school. After surveying faculty, parents, students, and alumni, the Board of
Trustees met during a retreat in January 2016 to develop the major framework of the plan. e
work of the Board was further considered by an expanded Strategic Planning Committee including
parents, faculty, and trustees. Additional discussions and focus groups helped to refine the ideas,
and the final draft of the plan was recommended by the Committee and approved by the Board
of Trustees at its meeting in September 2016. To carry out these goals, Trevor is committed to
investing the necessary human and financial resources during the next five years, all in pursuit of
our shared vision.
