rough the Trevor approach: n investigation crosses academic boundaries, combining art with history with science with literature. n curricular mastery occurs in larger, nuanced contexts, rather than detached silos. n synthesis and creative problem-solving build upon analysis and criticism. n learning doesn't stand still or sit quietly. We take our cues from how humans actually experience the world—with all of our senses. A science unit on simple machines transforms a fourth-grade classroom into a Makerspace, where students use a few key materials to hypothesize, tinker, and ultimately test solutions to the question "How can a fulcrum most effectually catapult a Ping-Pong ball?"
