Class Happenings: 1980s–1990s 4 4 T R E V O R D AY S C H O O L n S U M M E R 2 0 1 5 – 2 0 1 6 1st grade through 12th. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1989 and have spent most of my professional career in finance. I have been married for almost 20 years and have an 18-year-old son getting ready for college. I truly believe that my foundation at Walden prepared me for life. Peter Feigin '84 Peter Feigin was named CEO of the Year in BizTimes Milwaukee Business News. Peter Campbell (Lichter) '86 Peter currently divides his time between Toronto, Canada, and western Massachusetts. After graduation from The Day School, Peter attended Riverdale Country School. He received his BA in Art History from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and his MA in the History of Decorative Art & Design from Parsons The New School for Design/Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. (As an aside, Joanna Griner Cawley '85, was a graduate school colleague.) Having lectured in Architectural History at Parsons and contributed to several design publications, Peter continues to pursue his first love: music. In fact, he first began vocal performance during his years at The Day School. Peter recently released a recording, Street of Tears, and performs regularly around Toronto. Visit petercampbellmusic.com for more information. Khaled Younes '86 Hello, Class of '86! Wow! Thirty years later, and I still reflect on all my years at The Day School with happiness. I wish I could find my old yearbooks! I hope everyone is healthy and happy. Barney Elliott '88 The Day School alumnus Barney Elliott won two awards at the Woodstock Film Festival for his film, Oliver's Deal. Anna Venizelos '96 and Emily Venizelos '99 Anna and Emily are Trevor alumni who work professionally in circuses as contortionists. Shauna Usiak '97 Shauna and her husband, Eric, welcomed their first child—a daughter, Claire—in November 2015. Juliana May '98 Juliana May, an alumna and a former Trevor teacher, received a Guggenheim Fellowship for choreography this past April. Laura Davan (Weinberger) '98 Laura welcomed her son, Callan James Davan, on January 28, 2016. They are just loving their new little man!! Another alumna, Eliza Johnson '98, is Callan's godmother! Kate Barton '99 Griffin Barton Harty arrived 11 days late to the party on October 23, 2015, at 2:09 pm. A big boy already, he weighed Michael Baroni '82 My legal staff and I are celebrating our Value Champions award (photo below). This is a national-level award for a legal department to recognize efforts that have an unusually profound impact on a company. At Palace Entertainment, my Safety 1st program has reduced litigation and claims by 75 percent. Since I joined the firm, our trial record is 29-1. Lori Stout Banner '84 I am a Walden School alumna—and what is called a "lifer," as I attended Walden from 1971 to 1984, from Some terribly sad news to report: Christina Ryan '83 passed away after a long illness. Dearest friend to Courtney Wagner and my girlfriend from late 7th through 8th grades. Was kind to all, a huge fan of basketball, and loved Coaches Rob Johnson and Mirko Cavar. Obtained a degree in chi gong and lived her adult life helping others to heal physically, mentally, spiritually. Loved to travel, and took many trips with her father, John Ryan.
