"One of Trevor's greatest strengths is its small class sizes, and the teacher-student relationships that such classes foster. It would be impossible to overstate how influential those relationships were for my intellectual and personal growth. Giving back to the Annual Fund represents my faith in Trevor, and my hope that future generations of students can get as much out of Trevor as I did." –Steven Dallas, Class of '09 "e Annual Fund supports a faculty who delight in the opportunity to ignite a genuine love of learning every single day. When I was in middle school at Trevor (then the Day School), I recall designing a stained-glass box with 30 individually cut pieces and a hinged lid. It was not characteristic of me to be so ambitious, and, in fact, it wasn't my intention. I remember it was really hard work; the pieces would break and sometimes didn't fit. Nevertheless, my teachers gave me the time and moral support to figure out how to problem solve and persevere. I have a vivid memory of the day I finally finished the box. I had an incredible sense of accomplishment and joy. I realize today how fortunate I was to be at a place where I was free and encouraged to explore unfamiliar territory and work out my own designs. I treasure that box today." –Margaret Connors McQuade, Class of '85 and current Trevor parent Every gift to the Annual Fund—no matter the amount— is meaningful and important. Much like learning at Trevor, these contributions build upon each other, and achieve an outcome far greater than any one part. ank you for supporting Trevor's Annual Fund. www.trevor.org/giving e Trevor Annual Fund: What's the difference? You may know that the Annual Fund makes up the difference between tuition revenue and the full cost of a Trevor education. But what does that really mean? And what difference does it make for our children and our school? ree alumni explain why they give to the Annual Fund. " I love to talk about Trevor with my friends and professors at college because there is so much greatness to talk about! Trevor has exceptional programming that made the school a special place for me to spend six years of my life. I really found a place in the different choruses that Trevor offered and I loved how seriously the arts were taken. As a young alum, I support the Annual Fund in recognition of the array of wonderful programs and activities that Trevor offers." –Annie Michaelson, Class of '15
