Annual Fund ere is no other school in New York City quite like Trevor. As a parent or as an alumna/us, you've seen the great value of a Trevor education firsthand. From the exuberant inquiry of our youngest learners to the aptitude and poise of our Upper School students, a love of learning pervades our entire school. At Trevor, as at most other independent schools in the country, tuition does not cover the full cost of an education. We rely on Annual Fund contributions to close this gap. When you give to the Annual Fund, you sustain the particular dimensions of a Trevor education—idea-rich classrooms led by invigorated and well-supported teachers, innovative common spaces, low student-to-teacher ratio, dynamic off- campus learning opportunities, and socio-economic diversity in our student body. Every gift, whatever its size, is important to Trevor and greatly appreciated. For this, the cornerstone of all our fundraising programs, we seek 100% participation. Annual Fund participation is an outward metric that shows our inward resolve and belief in our school. It is a great source of pride for Trevor, and a wonderful signal for our prospective families as to how strong, supportive, and engaged we are as a community. Parents Association e Parents Association (PA) builds community, supports the educational objectives and mission of the school, and provides financial support through fundraising events. e PA will hold its annual Auction Evening on March 1, 2017, and as the end of the school year approaches, we will celebrate the arrival of spring with an all-school fair on Saturday, May 13th. Highlights include indoor and outdoor carnivals, with entertainment, and great food. PA volunteers host regular coffees, parent parties for each grade, parent/faculty book discussions, and Parents in Action meetings. ey also sponsor special annual events for the community, including an ice-skating party at the Wollman Rink, and a Mets game benefit. Funds raised by the Parents Association support faculty grants and PA activities throughout the school year, including Everybody Reads, Senior Dinner, and our Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day. Endowment Trevor's endowment provides a solid financial foundation today and for years to come. Endowment principal is permanently invested, while a portion of each year's interest income supports the school's annual operating budget, and specific program areas. Our endowment offers Trevor long- term financial flexibility and strength. Every gift, whatever its size, is important to Trevor and greatly appreciated.
