skills and strengths that I could use to excel in life. I learned to be a listener and an advocate, to make things happen. Every day we all navigated e Center, and we were so motivated. How do you like San Francisco? I love it! San Francisco is a great place— it thrives off entrepreneurship. ere is always someone with whom you can meet, talk, and learn. e food is great! e weather is…all right! Tell us some fond Trevor memories. I led a club called Treats for Troops, and we ordered too many swag bags.…I still have so many of them! Trevor showed me that the world is so abundant! Another memory was going to China during my sophomore year for the Model UN Conference, and then going to Northwestern's equivalent the following year. of a lifetime. And I have gained wisdom specifically because of asking all those questions. And then, all my interests have a social component, and we are learning that the social component is global—how do we create large, scalable, social impact? I'm happy to say I'm living the mission. And, I tell my mom that I made the right choice! Do you have advice for current students? Don't ever give up and don't accept no for an answer. Sometimes we're so caught up in figuring ourselves out that we forget what got us here. So, when you're feeling low, go back to your teachers and ask, "How did I approach this before? How did we strategize?" Is there anything else that you would like to share? I'm always happy to hear from Trevor students. I enjoy mentorship! 4 4 T R E V O R D AY S C H O O L ■ S P R I N G 2 0 1 7 – 2 0 1 8
