Class Happenings: 1970s–2000s Vivien K. Zak '74 "I continue as a psychotherapist in private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and in Manhattan. I am in touch with TDS friends Paula Gadigian '72, Paul Stafford '74, Marty Jenkins '74, Electra Weeks '74, Lynne Weinstein '74, Cary Rosner '74, Tracey Dewart '74, Robin Derby '74, and recently, through Facebook, got back in touch with Hendrik Kopperl '74, and Peter Waggoner '73. Life continues to be fascinating. I often think my eight years (K–6th Grade) at TDS allowed me to become myself at an early age, and to keep that openness of spirit that has served me so well throughout the following 46 years." Amy Seidman '78 "I just started a new blockchain division (www.BFlow.io), where we are developing Proof of Reputation in sustainable business and investment. I presented this at Davos in Switzerland earlier this year, and am thrilled to be a member of the Climate Chain Coalition. e CCC is a partner with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to support the use of blockchain, which in turn supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). At BFlow, we are developing a system tracking sustainability metrics as a means to help track and report commitments to the UNSDGs and create transparency amid $8 trillion divested funds and commitments made globally by over 10,000 signatories to the Paris Agreement. BFlow is a wholly owned subsidiary of Noble Profit, a public benefit corporation, offering business intelligence and matching platforms." Wylie Richardson '82 "I had a great time at our reunion in the spring! e gift of John Freeman Gill's book was portentous for me, as I have just had my novel, Golden Strings, published. e publisher is Éditions Dédicaces. ey are French-Canadian— but don't worry, my book is in English! e website is www.dedicaces.us." Andy Mersel '84 "I am in my second year of teaching reading and writing at e Bridge Academy, a school for children with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities, in Lawrenceville, NJ. Kim and I live with our girls in Florence, NJ. Our oldest daughter, Jamie, danced in Central New Jersey Ballet's production of the Nutcracker last fall, while Lauren continues to play Catholic Youth Organization basketball for Our Lady of Sorrows School in Hamilton, NJ." Mason Stark '84 "My brother, Nick '80, and I did a sectional hike of the Long Trail in Vermont last summer. We touched the Canadian border, and then hiked south, ending our thru-hike on Route 108 in front of Mount Mansfield on day six. It reminded us of the time we went hiking with a group of TDS kids in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, some time in the late 1970s. Our plan is to complete the 273 miles of the trail over several years. Some other Trevor alums even expressed interest in joining us for a leg or two." Chris Lake '01 "I added a family member! Wolfgang Leopold Lake was born on February 2nd, weighing in at a healthy 9 lbs 3 oz." 4 5 T R E V O R D AY S C H O O L ■ S P R I N G 20 1 7 – 2 0 1 8
