Class Happenings: 1980s–2000s Malcolm Lee '84 Malcolm has taken over as director of the Warner Bros. film Space Jam 2, which will debut in July 2021. Girls Trip and Night School are among his most recent films. Barney Elliot '88 Barney is living in Lima, Peru. He writes, "Some good news to share: My latest short comedy Autos Fantastico (Fantastic Cars) has been selected for competition in both the Seattle Latino Film Festival (slatinoff.org) and San Jose Inter- national Short Film Festival (sjsff. com). It has also been accepted into the Austin Film Festival"—which brought Barney to Austin, Texas, to attend. Kevin Draughon '02 Kevin and his wife, Yarleny, were married on August 8th in Monroe, Connecticut. It was a true Trevor event: groomsmen included Kevin Herrera '02, Scott Rodriguez '04, and Javon Phillips '05. Julia Norton '03 Julia writes, "I am very excited to share with you a new group of my paintings, made entirely from natural pigments, some collected from my recent travels and residencies in Italy, Montana, and the Canadian Rockies." Julia had a solo show this fall, called Ghostlight, at Lyles & King on Manhattan's Lower East Side. She adds, "I am currently continuing the study of natural pigments and the materiality of color in art-making at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I'm pursuing my Ed.M degree. I'm also working at the Harvard Art Museums as a teaching fellow." Dialtone Pool Ellis Rosen '04 Ellis and Meghan Girard recently welcomed their daughter, Sadie Eleanor Rosen, who was born on July 27, 2019. Jeremy omas '04 Jeremy writes, "Emily and I are over the moon excited to announce the arrival of our son, Edmund Yates omas, born August 18th, at 5:12 am…..just in time to join me for a morning run." Edmund is the grandson of David and Barbara omas and nephew of Isabelle omas '08.
