August Makoff '19, Nix Makoff '21, and Greg Makoff AP '19, '21 Gregory Makoff, Alumni Parent '19 and '21, recently wrote with an update about August Makoff '19, and Nix Makoff '21. He shared, "Here is a photo from August's Ring Dance where they celebrate being allowed to wear their class rings for the first time. With Friday's graduation of the Class of '22, she is now a Midshipman 1st Class. She is well-positioned to do naval or marine air; service selection in the fall depending on how she does at marine training at Quantico this summer. Her class rank is high, and she's shown great leadership, so our fingers are crossed that she gets what she wants. Nix did very well their first year at SAIC. ey were very well prepared by Trevor for the academic classes, where they excelled in writing, and their drawing and other artwork has continued to flourish." anks for the update. With organizing, you never know if anyone cares or will even show up to something you dedicate dozens of hours to working on. With only ten days before the march, I was tasked as the lead organizer for the March for Our Lives NYC event on June 11th. Over 8,000 people are estimated to have been in attendance. Lucy Gilpin '20 Lucy Gilpin '20 earned the Dean's Award with Distinction at Colgate Kai Oishi '20 Kai Oishi '20 was named a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Academic All-Conference honoree for Winter/ Spring 2022. To qualify for this status, student- athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior by academic standards with a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Congratulations, Kai! Class Happenings: 2010sā€“2020s University this past year. Lucy is majoring in psychological science and is a member of the Class of 2024. Congratulations, Lucy! Molly Litvin '21 As part of concluding her first year at NYU, Molly Litvin '21 presented as a guest artist to Trevor's eatre Design and Production 9th and 10th graders, as well as to the Advanced Show Production 11th graders. e presentation included work and class experiences, where she's focused on sound and stage management but also explores other aspects of design and production. ank you, Molly, for sharing with Trevor's rising generation of artists.
