Class Happenings: 2010s Daisy Spencer '12 Congratulations to Daisy Spencer '12, who performed on April 3rd at the Grammys! She just completed touring this summer as a guitarist in Olivia Rodrigo's band. Congrats on the tour and Grammy performances, Daisy—never stop rockin'! category for short- and long-form animation and will also hold a workshop for attendees. She can be heard as the voice of Cheng Chen in the video game Seven Knights II, and Miss Skippy in Boy, Girl, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheese, now playing on the BBC and Cartoon Network in select countries. She also made her directorial debut on Netflix's original animated show, Vampire in the Garden. Francesca has more series she is currently working on that are set to release this year. Congratulations, Francesca! Brian Moore '10 Brian Moore '10 recently received a National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellowship in support of the translation from Italian of Paradise Overload by Walter Siti. A survey of this Italian book published in the magazine L'Indiscreto revealed that Paradise Overload was widely regarded as the greatest Italian novel of the last two decades. Brian added, "Incredibly honored to receive a National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellowship in order to support the translation of Paradise Overload (Troppi paradisi) by Walter Siti!" Earlier this year, Brian was also a Translator in Residence at the Casa delle Traduzioni in Rome, and the Santa Maddalena Foundation in Tuscany. His next book-length translation, likely to be published in February 2023, will be A Silence Shared by Lalla Romano, for which he received the PEN Grant for the English Translation of Italian Literature from PEN America. Congratulations on the grants, Brian! Sophie Schuit '10 Sophie Schuit '10 married Spencer Holtzman on April 30, 2022 and the wedding turned into a mini Class of 2010 reunion! Other alums in attendance included Tess Schuit '14 (not pictured), Sammi Katz '10, Lizzie Potolsky '10, Rachel Spraos '10, Gaby Calabrese '10, Marisa Cirlin '10, Ann Powers '10, Grace Gallogly '10, Robby Silverstein '10, Ryan Edens '10, Harris Rothman '10, David Ehrlich '10, and Ben Wexler-Waite '10. Sophie also shared, "I'm currently completing a federal clerkship for the Honorable Myrna Pérez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit." Congratulations to both Sophie and Spencer, wishing you the best in your lives together. It was great to see so many fellow alums in attendance!
