EXPERIENCE TREVOR Y e a r E i g h t Parents, grandparents, and members of the alumni community braved an extremely rainy day in January to attend the 8th annual Experience Trevor in record-breaking numbers. From statistics and Jane Austen to neuroscience and choral techniques, the talented Trevor faculty led a dynamic back-to-school evening replete with engagement, learning, and joyful community building. Raves From Parents "Both teachers were fabulous, showcasing the best of what Trevor does— questioning the status quo, pushing students to take a risk in a safe setting, and ensuring that we learn from everyone in the room. And all with a truly infectious joy for the process (even at 8:00 pm, after a full day of work)." "What a great night! I cannot believe the quality of teaching my child gets to experience—I am more than a little jealous!" "Both my teachers were well prepared and enthusiastic. They facilitated not only understanding of the material but also constructive engagement with the other parents. I was impressed by their skill in doing so and with the energy they devoted to making the classes successful." "All around fantastic experience. First time in my life I ever wanted to go back to middle school." Grandparents "A thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile evening. It's been a long time since I learned so much in one night! My grandchildren are so lucky to attend and be a part of the Trevor community!" Teachers "I love getting the chance to meet (or get better acquainted with) the parents of my current, former, and future students. It's meaningful, fulfilling, and a practical help, too. What I liked best about Experience Trevor were the positive vibes and enthusiastic engagement of the parents acting as students. I truly LOVED having a grandparent of one of my current students! It was so fun having her participate in the class and she seemed to really enjoy it!" 2023 Classes Advanced Statistics: Creation and Analysis of a Large Data Set American Bestiary: Lewis and Clark's Animal Encounters College Cluster: A Case Study Don't Forget: It's A Play!
