Congratulations to Jordan Crespin '24 and Alexandra Weingard '24, who have both matriculated to Wesleyan University as student-athletes. Jordan will play women's volleyball, while Alexandra will compete with track & field. Congratulations, future Cardinals! Boys Varsity Volleyball Matt Johann, Assistant Athletics Director and Boys Varsity Volleyball Coach The Trevor Dragons volleyball team truly transformed this season, marking a remarkable turnaround from last year's winless inaugural season. This year, not only did they secure their first victory in team history, but they also fought their way into the NYCAL playoffs as the #4 seed. Their playoff journey was a testament to their growth and determination, culminating in a hard-fought match against the undefeated champions, Lyceé Français. Throughout the season, they discovered not only the intricacies of volleyball but also invaluable life lessons that underscored the importance of fortitude and living in the moment. Their resilience was tested and strengthened by numerous challenges, including injuries, the demands of multi- sport commitments, and the absence of a key player, who traveled to Germany for his senior Bridge project. These experiences galvanized the team, teaching them to adapt and persevere through adversity. Each player stepped up, embracing their roles and supporting one another both on and off the court. The season was a journey of growth and unity, leaving them not only better athletes but also as individuals who understand the power of perseverance and the significance of cherishing each moment.
