Gavin and his wife, Orly, joined the Trevor community in 2020. They have two sons enrolled at the school: Alex is in 5th grade (Class of 2033) and Daniel is in 3rd grade (Class of 2035). Gavin is a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey. He has 25 years of investment banking experience, including mergers and acquisitions; the issuance of both public and private debt; equity securities; and corporate restructurings. Gavin's experience includes cross-border advisory mandates in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Before rejoining Houlihan Lokey, Gavin worked for UBS Securities LLC in New York in the Leveraged Finance and Restructuring groups. Earlier, he was an associate with Houlihan Lokey. Gavin has been serving as an ad hoc member of Trevor's Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees since 2022. Gavin earned a BBS in Finance with honors from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder and a member of both the Association for Investment Management and Research and the CFA Society New York. The Parents Association elected Lauren Larsson P'32, P'34 as PA Co-President (Lower School). In this role, Lauren is an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees, effective through June 30, 2027. Lauren and her husband, Tomas, joined the Trevor community in 2022. They have two boys enrolled at Trevor: Kasper is a 4th grader (Class of 2034) and Teddy is a 6th grader (Class of 2032). Previous to her PA Co-President role, Lauren served as the 4th–5th Grade Division Chair, and prior to that was a Trevor 2nd-grade rep, while concurrently serving as the Lower School Vice President of The Windward School's Parents Association. There, she worked closely with Development, oversaw four committees (including Faculty and Staff Appreciation, Holiday Luncheon, and Photo Day), Holiday Luncheon, Photo Day, and led the school's Mentoring Committee for new families. Together with the senior leadership, she focused on programming for parents to build community and strengthen the home-school connection. Prior to that, Lauren was Co-President of City and Country School's Parents Association for two years. Earlier, she served as a class representative for four years and co-chaired the annual Benefit in 2019 and 2020. Before deciding to stay home with her children, Lauren worked in marketing for Russell Reynolds Associates. Lauren supports the Promise Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underserved children with learning disabilities get the support they need to thrive.
