Trevor Day School has greatly benefitted from the leadership and dedication of our Board of Trustees, which works with the head of School to ensure the continuing quality of Trevor's education, while also guiding the school toward a future that optimally fulfills its mission. We thank David Bloom, Pamela J. Clarke, and roberta rafaloff, who completed their terms in June of 2014, along with the entire 2013–2014 Board for its commitment and support of Trevor Day School. We recognize with deepest gratitude the countless contributions of Trustees Cynthia Bing and Glenn Markman, who passed away this fall. cynthia was the mother of three Trevor graduates: cynthia '87, abigail '89, and alexander '99. enormously dedicated to Trevor, she joined the Board in 1980 and served as Board President from 1984 to 1995, during which time the high school was established. For the past decade, cynthia had served as a trustee emerita. She and her husband Sandy also co- chaired Trevor's first capital campaign in the late nineties. a visionary leader for Trevor, cynthia will be remembered for her consummate skill, her compassion, and her ability to see the humor in every situation. Glenn, who had served as a trustee since 2003, was the father of clio '13 and edie, currently a junior at Trevor. he had for the past three years been vice President of the Board and was a longtime member of the Buildings and Facilities committee, in which capacity he was very instrumental in bringing our facilities projects to fruition. a tremendous advocate for Trevor, Glenn was a diligent and constructive trustee, a wonderful friend, and a tireless booster who never missed an opportunity to cheer on all of Trevor's students. on behalf of all at Trevor, we extended our deepest sympathies to the families and many friends of cynthia and Glenn. ey will be greatly missed.
