Trevor's Board of Trustees Marianne Magid Jones Marianne and her husband, Ian, came to Trevor in 2010. ey have three sons at Trevor, one in the 5th grade, one in the 2nd grade, and their newest Trevor student, who is in Kindergarten. After receiving her BA from Bates College, she worked as a publicist at George Braziller Publishers and at Hyperion (e Walt Disney Company). Marianne also earned an MSW from the Columbia University School of Social Work, did Post-Masters training in Family erapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, and was a social worker for Educational Alliance for several years. Marianne, who will serve two years as the Parents Association Co-President for the Lower School, has served in numerous volunteer roles at Trevor: She has been a PA division leader and head of Fall Festival acquisitions, has co-chaired the Annual Fund, has served as a greeter and panelist for Lower School Admissions, and has been a library assistant. Trevor Day School has greatly benefited from the leadership and dedication of our Board of Trustees, which works with the Head of School to ensure the continuing quality of Trevor's education, while also guiding the school toward a future that optimally fulfills its mission. We extend our deepest thanks to Alexis Crespin, Joe Gromek, and David Nelson, as well as emeritus trustees Lynn Edens and Mark Tavel, all of whom completed their terms in June of 2015.
