choreolab: Embracing the creative process, empowering individuals, collaborating as a group, and enriching the larger community. Choreolab is a coeducational, extracurricular dance program open to Middle and Upper School students in grades 7–12. Its magic and power lie in the fact that Choreolab is steeped in inquiry and truly a student-driven experience. choreolab: Janette Levin '17 based her dance, Screentime, on her premise that "much like the technology we depend on daily, each of us is made up of billions upon trillions of particles, constantly editing and reimagining our exper- ience as humans in a world that relies on screen time.…We are living in a static utopia as we swipe, tap, and click our way through life." Choreographer Rachel Wolf '17 said simply of her dance that "ochre, umber, sienna, and plum fly together." Jude M-S. '19's inspiration for his dance, Vermilion Wanderlust, was "a company of clandestine vermilion vaudevillians, materialized from the faux nineteenth century. Sadly, after a salacious savoir-faire-void turn of events…their world was turned upside down and disquietude abounded."
