They wrote, "As an undergrad double- majoring in Communication (Cornell University, Department of Communication) and Environment & Sustainability (Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences), she is diving into the multifaceted world of nutrition—exploring healthy diets, food security, cultural diversities, and more." Congratulations, Milla! Sarah Shapiro '17 Sarah Shapiro '17 recently shared this update: "I am excited to announce that I am directing a play this summer! Leave if No Response it is a wonderful new work written by my friend Abby Fisher, and I'm directing it with another dear friend Isabelle Chirls. A queer Jewish coming-of-age story, Leave if No Response follows best friends Mira and Ariel as they grow up in a modern Orthodox Jewish community. When Ariel comes out to Mira, the two grow apart, and their lives unfold in opposite directions. Ariel revels in the questions of queer adulthood while mourning the loss of the community that raised her. Mira searches for answers in Orthodox life, unable to quiet her suspicions that she may be queer. Together, they remember what was. Apart, they wonder what could have been."
